Zuani (Floriano del
Collio, Friuli) Five hectares of vines surround the Zuani cellar, where the varieties planted are Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon. Zuani only makes wines that are genuinely typical of the region and this territory, the Collio. Zuani Collio Bianco “Vigne” comes from a conscious decision to make a single wine that captures the fabulous aromas and structure of the grapes in the blend. It is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to bring out its fresh, fruit-rich personality. Zuani is Patrizia Felluga's winery and it embodies the Felluga family winemaking heritage, unifying the traditional aspects of Friulian varieties with their more modern side.
Vigne (Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon & Pinot
Grigio) Varieties are fermented seperately and aged in stainless steel. The wine has a pale golden hue, the palate showing sweet grilled nuts with wonderful fresh complex apple and citrus fruit and lingering mineral notes.

Ronco del
Gelso (Cormons, Isonzo del Friuli) Young wine grower Giorgio Badin, is steadily building a reputation for his wines at his family estate Ronco del Gelso (which translates ‘Hill of the Mulberry tree’). The vineyard occupies some 15 ha near Cormons on the right bank of the Isonzo river in the northeast of Italy. Within Isonzo, the area around Giorgio’s vineyards is recognised as a special one, and has had its own micro-DOC, Gesimis, since 2002. The climate here is ideal for quality grape growing with cold air from Central Europe meeting warm Adriatic winds, creating temperature variations favouring slow even ripening. The soil is also ideal, with deep calcareous beds of well-drained gravel known locally as ‘ponka’.
From a single-vineyard, Sot Lis Rivis, this is barrel-fermented in some new oak. The nose displays a sophisticated creamy, toasty edge with a distinctive floralness/herbiness. The rich, herby nutty palate has a full texture and good concentration. The oak is well integrated.
Malvasia The most awarded wine in Ronco del Gelso
portfolio the through the years and certainly the great variety of Friuli.
Very vinous nose, white flowers, thyme and lemon zest. The palate is rich
with soft but persistent fresh acid and a long finish.
Merlot Isonzo Aged in new French barriques for 12
months. Very deep red/purple colour. Lovely rich red berrty fruit on the
nose with subtle graphite notes and some spicy oak. The palate is chunky,
concentrated and savoury with an elegant richness to the fruit and good
acidity.
Friulano Toc Bas
Dario Coos (Nime
s, Friuli) The name Dario Coos is synonymous with Ramandolo, where he lives and makes his wines. The Coos philosophy is to give meaning to tradition in the quest for the original and authentic Ramandolo. This beautiful part of Friuli just north east of Udine with its rolling hills, has seduced Visitors throughout history. The dessert wines of this region belong to the top echelon in Italy and anywhere in the world. In more recent years though the dry wines have come to th forefront, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Verduzzo and Ribolla Gialla have impressed the international clients. All the grapes are grown on very steep slopes, handpicked and extreme care is taken with the vinification
A dry blend of Verduzzo and Sauvignon, the wine shows dried white flower and Almonbd Aromas with fresh Sauvignon character. On the palate citrus, fresh herbs and honey with medium body but powerful intensity.
Sauvignon Blanc
Friulano The classic white of Friuli and this part of Veneto, this is a very versatile wine for many different foods. Dry and 'herbal' nose with a fruit spectrum from citrus to white plums. Initially medium bodies the wine gains body with time in the glass to show richness and depth. Very long finish with hints of sweet almonds and white flowers.
Il Longhino Ramandolo The wine takes its name from the old family farmhouse and the Coos estates 'upper vineyard', which stands on steep, south-facing and superbly sunny terraces on the hillside below the little church at Ramandolo. It is made from the native Friulian Verduzzo Giallo variety, for which Ramandolo is a particularly excellent growing area. Il Longhino is a historic wine from the Coos cellars. Its aromas are nutured in the vineyard, where the bunches are thinned during ripening, which goes on until late October. As always, the late harvest gives the grapes a high concentration of sugars and good tannin content.
