Recently, they have added to their plantings a vineyard in Trentino (which carries the ‘io Domenico Armani’ label, showing a copy of the original signature for the land holdings in 1607) and in Friuli. All vineyards are tended to by hand, from pruning to harvesting. Each of the three regions has a state of the art winery, and care is taken to keep use of chemicals to a minimum. One of the great passions of the family has been the rediscovery of the ancient local variety Foja Tonda.
