Campagnola (Marano di Valpolicella, Veneto)

Carlo Campagnola began making wine in the Veneto in 1886, his first of many awards for the family name being achieved for his Recioto wine in 1907 at the 2nd Verona Wine Exhibition. Four generations later, the family have 50 grape growers with some of the best sites in the district of Marano di Valpolicella, under the winemaking skills of descendant Luigi Campagnola. The wines produced under this label maintain a great respect for the local winemaking traditions. Wines carrying the Caterina Zardini name are special parcels from the best sites, dedicated to Carlo’s wife.

Albino Armani (Dolcè, Veneto)

The Armani family have a long history in this region, cultivating vines since 1607. Recently, they have added to their plantings a vineyard in Trentino (which carries the ‘io Domenico Armani’ label, showing a copy of the original signature for the land holdings in 1607) and in Friuli. All vineyards are tended to by hand, from pruning to harvesting. Each of the three regions has a state of the art winery, and care is taken to keep use of chemicals to a minimum. One of the great passions of the family has been the rediscovery of the ancient local variety Foja Tonda.

Giuseppe Quintarelli (Veneto)

Bianco

Primofiore

Valpolicella Classico Superiore

The legendary wines of Giuseppe Quintarelli are some of the most sought after of Italy. With only 5,000 cases produced annually, the Valpolicellas, Amarones and Reciotos are rich, concentrated wines, which year after year collect 3 glasses in the Gambero Rosso Guide. The release of the wine is only once they have been deemed ready by Giuseppe. Known as "the Master of the Veneto", Giuseppe Quintarelli was born and raised in the Veneto, learning to make wines from his father. The winbes that are made by Giuseppe today still follow those traditions learnt, with careful hand selection of grapes in the vineyard, which are dried on bamboo mats and fermented in large Slavanian oak casks.

Le Salette (Veneto)

Today the Scamperie family owns twnety cultivated hectares, situated here and there among the most renowned places of the Valpolicella Classica Doc area: Fumane Ca Carnocchio, I Progni e Ca Melchiori, Sant' Ambrogio Conca D'Oro and in San Floriano Monte Masua. The type of grapes produced are the most classical types of the zone: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta, a small quantity of Molinara and Croatina. The Vinyard has grown slowly and carefully, always respecting the local technique which is sensitive to nature.

The enterprise, Le Salette, has never stopped developing their product, basing the essence of their life and activity, their unflagging quest, on patient research. And their goal has always been quality, a goal shared by the entire family. It's an open heart that makes good wines. They are: the Valpolicella, the Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso "I Progni", the IGT Veronese "Ca Carnocchio", the Amarone and the Recioto della Valpolicella, the white Passito "Cesare", the single grape variety wine Molinara anbd only in the best years the "Pergole Vece" either Amarone or Recioto
