Antonelli (Montefalco, Umbria)
The Antonelli vineyard has been owned by
this family since 1881. The 40ha. vineyard forms part of a farm, which
also harvests timber, olives and grain. Set in the picturesque hills of
Umbria, the vineyard is at an altitude of 350m, with deep alluvial, clay
soils. Their wines respect the tradition of the region, showing elegance
and balance. Very well regarded in the Umbrian region, they are
consistently awarded 2 bicchieri in the Gamberro Rosso Guide for their
wines.

Rosso Baiocco
Rosso di Montefalco
Sagrantino di Montefalco Chiusa di Pannone Riserva Sagrantino's origins are thought to date back to the 11th century when it was possibly introduced from Asia Minor. This wine is produced from 25 year old + low yielding vines. The fruit is hand harvested, fermented and aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels, followed by 9 months in large Slovanian oak and French oak barrels. Decanting is highly recommended. Antonelli has taken great steps forward over the last year by increasing the quality even further and releasing the Chiusa di Pannone for the first time
