Gesellmann(Deutschkreuz, Burgenland)
with its 28 hectares of vineyards on loamy, gravelly hills surrounding Deutschkreutz, Weingut Gesellmann is small enough to keep every single grape under control. And big enough, not to be forced to use every one of them. The luxury of "selection" is the fundamental basis for the best wines. In some of the vineyards, selection takes care of itself, since the vines are over eighty years old and produce only minimnal yield. 90% of the vineyards are reserved for red grapes. The estate was first mentioned in 1767, but it attained its peak when Engelbert Gesellmann planted international varieties in the mid-80s and experimented with aging in barrique casks. First Releases were the Opus Exmium (1988) and Bela Rex (1922) Wine Maker Albert Gesellmann.

IBY (Burgenland)
Located in the centre of the Austrian wine region Mittelburgenland, IBY produces red wine varieties only. The wines in the highest quality band are tended sensitively and naturally. The quantity restrictions that are practiced here result in rich, harmonious red wines with exceptional fullness and a noble style. The estate in Horitschon has been a wine-growing business since the beginning of the 20th century and today 30 hectares of vineyards are looked after. Only Estate grown grapes are used for their wines. Wine maker Anton IBY.

"S" Blend IT 2006
