Château Dereszla (Tokaji,
Hungary) The Tokaji appellation covers just 5,000
ha. around the village of Tokaj in the north-east of Hungary. The
tradition of these sweet wines dates back to 1630, long before the sweet
wines of Sauternes or the Rhine. 100% Furmint, hand selected botrytised grapes, vinified in stainless steel. Approx 100g/l residual sugar. A truly sensational dessert wine. Bursting with freshness and pure fruit character with a clean and luscious finish
Tokai Aszu Imperia (375ml) Made with traditional aszu making method, this sweet wine was matured in stainless steel tank for 2 months, then spent two years in Zemplen Oak Barrel, finally passed one year in bottle. The sweet taste is in good harmony with the characteristics of acid, oxidative maturing method. One of the world's
greatest sweet wines. Picked berry by berry to ensure only the finest
affected grapes are used in its production. Full flavoured and luscious with hints of
orange peel rising about the intense fresh fruit
aromas. |
